Jordan is the founder of EMDR Knoxville and a trauma-focused therapist specializing in EMDR therapy. She is an EMDR Certified Therapist™ and EMDRIA Approved Consultant™ with clinical experience across medical, inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings, including Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

Jordan’s work focuses on helping adults heal from complex trauma, traumatic loss, dissociation, attachment injuries, and the lasting impact of overwhelming life experiences. Her specialties include Complex PTSD, crisis and disaster response, dissociative experiences, and supporting young adults navigating transitions and emotional challenges.

She is the co-coordinator of the East Tennessee Trauma Recovery Network and is passionate about expanding access to specialized, trauma-informed care in the community. Her approach integrates evidence-based trauma treatment with a deep understanding of the connection between the brain, body, and nervous system.

Jordan is licensed in Tennessee, Illinois (telehealth), Florida (telehealth), and South Carolina (telehealth).

Lynn Smith, LCSW

Lynn Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in counseling and social work. She specializes in EMDR therapy and trauma recovery, with more than 12 years dedicated to helping individuals heal from traumatic experiences, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and stress-related concerns.

Lynn is a Certified EMDR Therapist™ and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant™, an EMDR Institute Facilitator, and serves as Co-Coordinator and Approved Consultant for the East Tennessee Trauma Recovery Network through the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Program.

In addition to EMDR therapy, Lynn incorporates mindfulness-based approaches to support emotional wellness, resilience, and personal growth. She is a Level 1 Qualified MBSR Teacher and Certified mPEAK Coach, offering mindfulness-based training and consultation for individuals and professionals.

Lynn maintains her own independent practice and is available for therapy, consultation, and mindfulness-based programming.

Operations Manager

Ryan Evans

Ryan brings operational expertise and a background as a full-time real estate professional to the team, overseeing the day-to-day business side of the practice. His focus is on keeping things running smoothly — from accounting and vendor relationships to office organization, facility upkeep, and hiring — so the clinical team can focus fully on client care. He also manages the practice's lease and property relationships, and supports marketing efforts to help the practice grow.
